Your Mental Health Matters
At The Black Women’s Institute for Health, we’re committed to making sure you have the support you need, free of charge. We understand that many Black women and girls don’t have insurance coverage or access to culturally responsive mental health care. That’s why we’re offering no-cost therapeutic services, designed specifically for our community.
Why Mental Health Support Matters
Black women and girls often carry the emotional weight of caring for others—families, friends, and communities—while our own needs go unmet. This can leave us feeling depleted, anxious, and unheard. Depression and anxiety may also show up differently for us. We might feel persistent fatigue, irritability, or physical aches, rather than recognizing the classic signs we’ve been taught to look for.
